Ok... she makes you think she is understanding and kind but the truth of the matter is, she is not. Her papers are easy and the journals suck but it doesn't matter how well u do on your work in the class b/c if u miss more than a couple of days your ass will be FAILED! Attendance is mandatory and she will not excuse you for ANY reason!!!

This course is Intro to College Writing, so needless to say you will write - a lot!! There were never any tests, only papers both written in class and out of class. The final was a research paper. The first week or so we touched on grammar and took a short quiz but that was it. A lot of handouts and hardly any notes. The only thing I dind't like about Prof Altmier was the fact that she is vague in her writing assignments but she grades them tough. No matter how many times and different ways a question was asked, I don't think a single one was fully answered. Over all, I am glad I had her and I am glad I had a lot of friends in class with me - that helped!!

Im definitely not a writing person, but this class wasnt that bad. She helps you out in any way that you need. You dont really have any tests, a few quizzes here and there. All you basically have are papers. Take your time on your papers, actually try and she'll be able to tell and give a better grade. Be sure to have your cell phone on silent bc anytime a cell phone goes off the whole class gets a pop quiz on the topic of her choice. Overall, it was a pretty fun class!
