Additional Comments |
A lot of reviewers have called this class difficult, but for the most part, its really rather straight forward. Professor Gelderman offers tons of extra credit, he's a nice interesting guy, and he gets really enthused whenever any of his students show actual interest in the lessons he's teaching. Some people I took the class with were upset because they had imagined that it was going to be an easy A like 104. Obviously do to the mixed reviews and grades here, it isn't... but the things he teaches are far more memorable than star charts and learning planet orders. Universe, star and galaxy formation and destruction are all covered
If that kind of stuff intrests you, and you arent affraid of possibly getting a B if you slack off too much, this class is very much worth taking over 104. Just as long as you actually put in some effort, including doing extra credit opportunities you'll be fine. It would take an absolute ma-roon not to get a decent grade.
