This class is ok if you don't want to really learn spanish. the class is boring and the test are hard because she doesn't tell you whats going to be on it. You will be called upon on at anytime to answer in class.

Dr. Castro is an awesome spanish teacher. She is a really nice lady and goes at a good slow pace. There is a lot of in class interaction but her tests are easy and there is hardly any homework.

This Spanish course was a little harder than I expected it to be. If you have already had at least 2 years of Spanish in high school, you should be fine. It had been a long time since I had been exposed to the Spanish language, so it was hard for me to remember everything. If you have never had any kind of Spanish before, this class is way too advanced for you in my opinion.

Ms. castro is from Peru, which gives good insight, but also makes it difficult to understand her. She had a couple communication problems with my class. Also, if you've never had a spanish class before, don't start with her. she doesn't explain enough for a beginner. the only way i got an A is because i had spanish in highschool. This is not the class for you if you plan to major or minor in spanish, either... you will get nowhere. i recommend this class to someone with enough experience to get themselves by. she will tell you a good deal about the exams and essays. there is very little homework. we never used the cd roms that you had to buy, though. good extra credit is offered.

Class seems hard at 1st. Easier than she makes it sound. Will work 1 on 1 with you if needed.

Ms. Castro is a great lady. She is very nice and will keep you busy with in-class work and Peru stories. (Peruvians are interesting.) The extra credit added 5 points to your final grade and was not difficult. It basically was bringing something Hispanic to class during a party we threw - awesome stuff. The midterm was hard, but she made up for it by offering web quizzes you could take over and over again. The final was fairly easy.
The accent deal is a little difficult and she can be a little foggy on conveying meanings; just be sure to clear things up.
Still, she could roll with her students and be entertaining.

Mrs. Castro is a very nice lady who is willing to work with you. I dont know how many times she let me turn stuff in late because I was having trouble grasping it. If you somewhat study and show up for class you should have no problem at all. You dont really learn a whole lot though, you teach yourself and then show up to class to practise, but if you just looking to get through your foreign languages this is the class to take.

Mrs. Castro is a very nice lady to have in class with many stories. It is sometimes hard to know what will be on a test and it can get frustrating not knowing what to study. One test may be difficult and the next extremely easy. Usually, in the end, you will come out okay, but sometimes it's a lot more stress than it's worth. She requires participation and we follow the book page by page with quite a big of "busy" homework-though that's expect to learn the material. Mostly it's vocabulary and being able to use it. The extra credit offered was going to a spanish movie and writing a paper on it as well as writing a paper in spanish on a famous person from that culture. The homework wasn't always hard but was expected because sometimes she would take it up. She is a great person to be around though, so if you know any spanish at all, you will do fine.

Ms. Castro is always willing to help students in need! She may seem a little scatterbrained, but she gives every opportunity to her students to turn in work or make up assignments.

Senora Castro is a lovely little lady. I feel like I learned a lot from her class even though it was easier than my high school spanish. She tells you everything that is going to be on tests or quizes and homework is minimal.

This is the easiest course that you could ever take. If you actually want to learn spanish then don't take her because you will learn nothing in her class; but if you just want an easy A, she is your lady.
