Dr. Snavely was wonderful throughout the semester and I loved her. Really thought a lot of her. She was always super quick when it came to helping. Homework was easy, the group project was easy and she offers extra credit. However, come the end of the semester, she turned. I had a 79.3 as a grade and she WOULD NOT give me the .2 points s that I could make a B in the class. Wouldn't even respond to the 2 emails i sent after she told me she felt she gave enough opportunities throughout the semester. I really didn't appreciate it especially since she did give the full points that she stated she would give in the syllabus. I will never forget it. I would have made deans list for the 4th semester in a row if it weren't for her .2 points.

Going to class is a waste of your time. She reads from her PowerPoints which are gibberish. You basically have to teach yourself through the book and the homework. Doesn't reply to emails. Doesn't give extra credit. Doesn't help you. Doesn't do curves on her test. She's weird. She wear weird little vests with dragons and stuff on them.

She is the worst professor I have ever had. All she does is read her powerpoint slides and doesn't give you time to write anything extra down. She also just talks constantly and doesn't explain things well enough for her students to understand, and if you need extra help, she just passes you off to her student gradate assistant who will never reply to any email you send. Her tests are ridiculous, and no matter what you study there will be curveballs thrown in there. If i wanted someone to just read things to me, I'd have gone back to the first grade.

Dr. Snavely does a really great job in explaining the material in this course compared to her fellow co-workers. Not to mention she is a nice lady as well and is willing to help. She provides plenty of explanation on the material and extra credit. Your lucky if you get her!

Seems like a nice lady,Gives extra credit quizzes before each exam to add to your overall grade,Also if you play in an online stock market simulation she will give you credit on your grade she seems nice,You have to attend class though to succeed and also you have to stay current with the homework. While she is a nice lady and willing to help you out this is not a cake class,You do have to apply your knowledge and learn the principles behind the course to succeed.

It is not really that difficult of a course if you show up, pay attention and read. She is a really easy going professor for the most part and is willing to answer your questions. Print out the power points and take notes makes it a lot easier to follow along. You will get to read the Wall Street Journal and post discussions weekly about an article as well as your answers to the questions she posts on hers. there is very little other homework except an ongoing project that has you looking up stock info.

Dr. Snavely is a very good professor, in addition to being a nice lady. She give Clicker quizzes occasionally, but she announces them beforehand (she provides the Clickers, so you don't have to go out and buy one). She gives several quizzes throughout the year, and you also have homework on MyFinanceLab, as well as Excel cases to submit through BlackBoard. If you attend class regularly, study, and put forth some effort you should have no problem in this class. Dr. Snavely is very helpful and is always glad to work with you on difficult concepts if you drop by her office.

Snavely is one of the best teachers i've taken so far at WKU. She's super easy and she gives a bunch of extra credit. I don't see how anybody could do bad in this class. Before the test make sure you read the chapter review and know what it contains. From what i heard she's easier than brown.

I honestly do not see how anyone can have ANYTHING bad to say about Dr. Snavely! She is absolutely one of the best teachers I have ever had! If you need anything and she can help you, she will. She explains stuff and offers extra credit. I took her course as an Honors course and LOVED it. I learned so much. Her tests are not hard and she lets you use a notecard to put anything down that you want. I would recommend this class to anyone. She is a great teacher and person.

This is the absolutely the worst teacher that I have ever encountered at Western Kentucky University. This isnt out of hatred by no means because she is a nice lady, but she is dumb as a rock. Nobody has a clue or even cares what she is talking about. You do get to use a notecard on the tests but honestly if you dont know what she is talking about it is a lost cause. I would take my chances with somebody else.

This class sucked. Ms. Snavely was an awful teacher. She is very boring. All she does during class is read the powerpoint slides. She doesn't teach. She will let you use a 3 by 5 notecard with formulas for each test. Do not take her.

Finance 330 is very easy, but this lady is a very poor PHD professor. I think they give those degrees to anyone who wants it. Every class she reads the powerpoints word for word. At times she wouldn't even know some of the information that we needed to know. What kind of professor is that? Take someone else I had a B and dropped to a C.

Finance is hard even when you have a good teacher. I would recommend this course because if I can do OK, then anybody can.
