Additional Comments |
Dr Kiasatpour is a very unique professor. First of all, I would not recommend him for people not interested in Political Science or if you are just taking the class to fill a requirement. He knows what he is talking about, and his side rants really add a new aspect to class. He tells you his opinion which is very rare from a professor, and if you are willing to put in the work it is a really fun class. You can talk to him before and after class about anything, and he is always there to help if you have questions. I know several people who have tried to take his class and said it was too hard, but these people were not willing to actually put forth the effort needed in his class. It is rare to find a class, especially at Western, that challanges the students to go beyond what is necessary to improve their education. This class is not for those who want to do the minimum. You will have to work for a good grade in his class, but through your effort you will come out of Dr Kiasatpour's class with a better knowledge of International Politics and a better global perspective.
