Additional Comments |
I thought this course was hard! I was, and still am a really good student, though history isnt my favorite subject. I always made B's in it in high school while the most of the rest of my grades were A's. I think the quantity of the material is what makes it hard. For the 2nd test i had 48 pages of notes typed in 12 font! it was definitely a time consuming class, and u should consider purchasing a tape recorder for it. Prof. Phillips is nice and he will explain anything again, but its just a lot of material. There are 25 mult. choice questions and 10 essays which u choose 5 to actually write. I ended up dropping the course, cause otherwise i would have gotten a D in it! if ur good at history then he's fine....if its not ur favorite then dont do it. Some ppl do fine in the class though....like my roommate got an A! we had the same notes too, so i dont know what the difference was! either way, good luck!
