Additional Comments |
Dr. Rice is one of my favorite biology profs. All the notes are power point and on blackboard. I recommend printing them out before hand and just filling in details. She presents the class in an easy to learn fashion as compared to most scattered profs. You have to study every detail for her tests, otherwise you'll pay for it on the tests. Something you think to be not important will likely end up being a short essay question on the test. Her grading is pretty consistent but she really doesn't give partial credit. To get full credit on her essay questions you have to write everything down to the little detail. One thing I will say about this class is I learned a lot. I learned so much in this class it has helped me in other biology classes as well. I recommend taking this class even if you don't have to, it will help you out tremendously. Ask questions in class or after because Dr. Rice is very hard to get a hold of even during her office hours.
