This was a very easy class. My class was a MWF class and we only attended class on Wed. We also met with hime once every other week to talk about the papers you have writen over the semester. He is a little different but very nice. Just make sure to do the little homework assignments that he assigns. They are extremely easy. If your looking for a very easy class, take this one!!!

King is an interesting individual. He says things that he probably shouldn't say at times, but it's funny hearing him talk. ("You all have fun this weekend with your drunken orgies") He gave quizzes over most of the things we read, but they are only simple 1 or 2 questions that if you read the material, or even sparknotes, you will do fine. He let us use the book on the last 2 tests and his tests are fairly easy.
He offers plenty of extra credit. He'll end up dropping quiz grades like no other - so if you miss a day and don't take a quiz, chances are that grade will be dropped.

YAWWWNNNN! Bring your pillow to this class folks. I fall asleep everyday in this class, I talk sometimes, but usually I listen...when I go. Let's just say I make 95s and 97s on the tests without reading the material. If you are looking for an easy class, take this, but you will be bored out of your skull for the duration of the class period.

This was the easiest class that i have had in college. Dr. King was a really nice guy even though most of the time he appeared to be lost and confused. This is also the most boring class that I have had so far. I recommend taking this course if you want an easy A.

Just know that by registering for this class you're pretty much registering for a religion class. Everyday in class he'll bring it up in one way or another. Sometimes he'll even throw in his ignorant comments on politics. And if you're opinion on something doesn't agree with his, you're wrong. This professor is one of the worst professor's I've ever had! Avoid his class if at all possible! And if you get stuck w/ it (in his words) "may God bless you!"

Prof. King is a very nice teacher, he mainly grades you based on how much effort you put in. You have a weekly 2 page paper due every Monday, which some can be revisions of previous papers written in the class. You also have atleast a 1 page New York Times response due every other friday. Your grade consists of him grading what you think are your best three papers, and then a portfolio containing all your writing from the semester organized logically, is what accounts as a final. If you put the effort forth, you'll do fine!

Dr. King is a really good english teacher. He grades fair, and is humorous. He is really good at remembering every student's name, and he will offer help to anyone. He is really good at answering email. Overall, he is a nice guy.

Dr. King is really wierd. He thinks alot to himself outloud, and he doesn't ever seem like he's prepared for class. He gives reading assignments everyday (even the first day) and there WILL be a quiz the next day on it (even the second class meeting). Make sure you read everything he assigns. Sometimes the questions he asks are very vague, and its hard to know what hes even asking. Other time he wants you to remember itty bitty details. Other times he wants you analyze things you never know what to expect. I got an A in this class, but it wasn't exactly the easiest class I've ever had. Also sometime he seems like he is out to screw students over. It really excites him to ask questions on tests or quizzes that people don't understand. Over all I wouldn't take him again, or recommend him. But if you are stuck and nothing else fits your schedule he's atleast not too impossible.

I hated this class. Honestly, Mr. King seemed to be a little slow in the head because he was always pacing at the front of the room, taking off his glasses constantly, picking at his fingernails and beard while carrying on a conversation with himself. He is not a stable teacher at all. He wonders off on pointless stories that have nothing to do with the topic of discussion. He changes the rules in the class all the time as well as changing ideas about the test at the last minute. He takes attendence every day. There are NO EXCUSED absences. It is very difficult to be prepared for his exams because on a whim he will change everything around and it makes absolutely no sense. DO NOT take his class. I'm not quite sure how he became a teacher.

Dr. King is "out-there." He can be really confusing sometimes, but if you ask questions he can try to help. We split up into assigned groups almost daily and we each get to talk about our reading. One group gets theme, another style, etc. I was, however, in a group that was always "wrong", or "not exactly correct." If you take this class, make it MWF because it can get boring. Make sure you go to class everyday because he gives quizzes daily.

Mr. King is a great teache! All you have to do is 4 journals every week and a portfolio at the end of the semester. He is very nice and is willing to help out any student in need. I would highly recommend him as an english teacher for english 100.

Dr. King is very scatter brained. He makes due dates and then changes them the night before. However, he is very easy and will work with his students. He gives quizzes everyday so attendence is important. Lots of reading, but everything is easy if you keep up.

This class was kind of boring at times, but it wasn't really that hard. You have to keep a weekly journal, each week needs to be a page and a half typed, the more you type the better. I learned early he really likes length in your essays. There is one big paper based on one of your journal or test essays.
