I thought I had a B in this class, be prepared for that kind of surprise. I enjoyed the class, but in the end was disappointed.

Class can be boring. He goes over a lot in each class, so you take a lot of notes. I thought his first test was giong to be hard. But if you have a good understanding of a few important topics and how they relate, then his tests aren't very hard and he grades pretty fairly. If you attend class, you don't need the textbook much, except for a paper.

Dr. Murphy lectures straight out of the textbook. He also expects students to have some kind of background in Ancient Rome before you begin this class. His tests are not very hard, you choose four questions out of about twenty choices given. A boring professor but he will take your complaints about grades into consideration if you have any.

Great and helpful prof, but a little too formal and preachy. His tests have tons of questions to choose from (do 5), so you just have to know a lot about a few things. Requires 1 three-page paper. pretty good class.
