Additional Comments |
Dr. Grimm is a wonderful professor! He's very funny; he will cuss and speak of drinking and sex, but nothing offensive. He knows a lot and you will definately learn something beneficial. There are 3 exams and the third is considered the final, but it's not cumulative. Studying is required, but if you pay attention in class and take good notes you probably won't have to read the book very much. He does allow you to "contract questions" which is where the class writes questions for the exam. There are several questions on the test, which allows you to miss a few without it killing your grade. I bombed the first test, but did well on the last two and pulled an A for the semester. He does take attendance everyday, but he allows like 5 absences before he starts deducting from your grade. I never wanted to miss because I was afraid I'd miss a good story!! Overall, I would definately recommend taking this class.
