If you want a rigorous Caluclus class, I would not recommend Richter. Dr Richter covered way less material than my High School Calculus teacher did. He goes at a slow/understandable pace. There are a lot of quizes in this class, but you can use your notes on them. There is little manditory homework assignments, he never takes up problems.

Mr. Richter was a good prof, while sometimes unclear. He had pretty good office hours and was easy to find (most of the time) if I needed him for help on a project or studying. For MY class, the scale was 20% quizzes (about twice a week), 20% projects (about 3 a semester), and 60% tests (about 5 a semester). He was sometimes unclear, but overall a good teacher.
