Dr. Strolger is a great guy and an excellent astronomer. Class can be confusing to some and those thinking this is a bunny class move on, cause it isn't. Quite a bit of notes and if astronomy is foriegn to you expect to put is some time studying for tests. Overall I still enjoyed the class and I learned a whole hell of a lot!

dr strolger is a really nice guy. i accidentally missed an exam (probably because i never went to that class) and a month later he allowed me to make it up for full credit. his exams are really difficult, and i dont think that he really prepared us for them, but then again... i never went to class. he ended up cancelling a couple labs and an exam. i probably went to class about 10 times and i pulled off a B. i highly recommend him!

My advice is NOT to take this professor. I love him to death, he's the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. But he taught WAY above my head. I struggled the whole way through that class, and I don't think I really learned a thing. His notes are on a projector, and they made no sense to me. He goes too fast. He uses vocabulary and sentence structure that only confused me.
