This is a reading and discussion based class. You have to have the book, you have to read it. There are 15 journals and 15 quizzes, two event responses, one test, three essays and a presentation. It is a lot of work but none of it is hard, just tedious. As a general ed class it was not the best but if you are a women studies minor and have to have it, Leigh is a good teacher.

Ms. Johnson is a great teacher. There are no tests in this class. Just weekly journals (which are a BREEZE to write) and weekly quizzes over the readings (which are SIMPLE as long as you glance over the reading before class) . . .3 essays are required but are not difficult to write. . . . Each class involves forming a circle and discussing the days readings. . . easy enough. . .and the final is a presentation (5-7 minutes) over a famous woman in history or of today. Take this class. you wont regret it.
