This class is very easy going and laid back. Thapa, for what he lacks in his presentation during class, he makes up for with his straight forward test taking questions. What he says will be on the test will directly be on the test. A lot of the other points in class are really "give me points" and everything you do is a group effort (besides test). Gotta Love Thapa!

He is funny sometimes and willing to help students. His lectures are extremely boring. Study the power point slides, the worksheets he gives you, and if you don’t understand the material just read the textbook.

Thapa is a good teacher although his class is difficult. There is homework but it doesn't have to be turned in. Although it does help understanding the material. At the end of the year he drops two quiz grades and has a curve for your final grade.

Dr. Thapa is a good professor, but his accent is hard to understand at times. Read the book and go to class. The tests are difficult and you must do the homework he assigns in order to do good on the them. He does not take up the homework, but you must do the homework. This course starts out pretty easy, but gets progressively harder. He gives you all of the formulas that you will need on each test, but you must do the homework to know how use the formulas. To get an A, study around 15 hours for each test. You will also have a group case and an individual case, but these are easy if you have paid attention in class. There are also a few quizzes that are generally all problems, but he will basically tell you the types of problems ahead of time. Good class.

Don't not take Thapa if there is a chance you have to ask him a question!! Yes, the class is hard but when any of the students try to ask him a question he either does not understand or just tells you to look at the powerpoint. There is homework but you don't have to turn it in usually.

Finance was not my favorite subject, but I learned a little from Thapa's class. He is not a bad teacher, yeah at times you do not understand what he is saying, but he is not that hard of a teacher. He tries to lighten up on the tests and not make them too hard to pass. It really depends on how much time you take up for this class, depends on your grade. Similar to any of the Accounting classes, you cannot look over the material the night before. Finance is hard period.

I hate Accounting and Finance and if I had tried harder I could have probably gotten a higher grade. The class is okay. He's not that hard to understand.

Dr. Thapa is a nice guy an all, but he class isn't that great. He doesn't give many notes. And he doesn't go over much material but it is all on the test. He does let you out early most day.
