This was a web class and it was difficult. There were discussion board questions each week, about 20 something. You had to respond to two and answer them, then respond to someone else's response, then respond back if anyone responds to your intial responses. Then there are the questions for everyone to answer, two or three each week. You have to check it daily and work on it daily. There is a research paper due and you have to use the resources you must use. You have to get NewYorkTimes by e-mail everyday to your web address and read them for some questions come from them. The first exam took me seven hours to write, type and complete, and the second, took me the same. There were 3 essays and you had to have 250 to 350 words each, then the last exam, the final, there were 15 numbered definitions, with some of them having more than one term on a line. You had to define, then write a 100 word explaination or example of each. It was very draining, exhausting and hard. But............I learned much about our government. It was worth the effort to learn so much. He challenges your responses and gives input and adds much info. that you didn't previously know. I feel I know a lot more about our govt. now and will be watching and listening more and more abreast of what is going on in our next election. I would have really rather had him in a classroom situation, rather than on the web.
