First, if you don't have someone to get your notes from, you had better be there everyday. But, the girl in front of me missed like 12 times in the summer session, I gave her the notes and she made 90's on all the exams. Much of exams come from lecture and you must read the readings and he gives you the questions. If you study your notes and memorize the questions from the readings, no problemo. I thought the class was interesting, except Dr. Pruitt talks so fast it is as if he is on speed. He doesn't allow much time for class participation and cuts students off at times and I sensed some resentment from students because of this. He tells an extremely large amount of personal stories and a lot of them involve his involvement with drinking at local bars with Dr. Bolander and others and his attending rave parties, etc., but was ademant that he DOES NOT USE ILICIT DRUGS, even though his friends do. I really don't think he does for he couldn't remember all the details of his stories if he did. He does not go over the exams in class. He said no one in the dept. does, even though I know that is not true for I have had other sociology classes. If you want to trust your scantron, fine, if not, you have to go to his office while he searches through the piles and mounds of papers and scantrons so you may view it. I like him. I think he's funny and I think since he was forced to go to a Christian School growing up, he is still blowing it out at 40. You go dude!
