Additional Comments |
This class was fun! A lot of material is repeated from MGT 300, but Mr. Sparks makes the class very interesting. It's a night class, but he only keeps you two hours...plus those go by quickly because the class is so interesting. Reading the textbook is helpful to clarify some things, but the tests come from his notes. There are two tests and a cumulative final. You also have to write a 5-8 page paper about various accounting scandals. He allows you to drop the lowest grade (so you don't have to take the final if you're satisfied with your other grades). You do have to write the paper; you can't take the three tests and not write the paper and drop that grade. This is an easy class, but you do learn quite a bit. He offers real-life examples from cases he has witnessed as a local attorney.
