Additional Comments
You're going to have fun. Dr. Pulsinelli is hilarious. He's also interesting, and he is great at explaining things in a manner that is easy to understand.

This class centers around government and its impact on economics, with a major focus on externalities and property rights. It doesn't sound too interesting, but it's stuff that is actually very relevant.

There is no textbook. You'll take a lot of notes. A *lot. His lectures are fun. There is no attendance policy. Once in a blue moon, he might offer a point or two of extra credit. Two essay exams, plus a cumulative essay final. You also must write a 10 to 15 page paper.

The exams aren't easy, but they aren't too hard, either. They seem as if they'll be hard due to the volumes of notes that you take. Here's what worked for me -- I'd look over my notes, and then construct some essay questions from them. Then I'd use my notes to answer them in essay format (complete sentences, paragraphs, etc.). It made a BIG difference in my test scores. If essay exams give you a headache, give it a try.

This is one of those classes that you don't want to miss because you know you'll miss out on some valuable notes that you'll need for the test... and because Dr. Pulsinelli is a very entertaining professor.
