Additional Comments
Dr. Caillouet is a teacher that I wish I had never taken for many reasons but for the purpose here I will give 5 major reasons why no one should ever take him.
1. His exams are never what he goes over. He will say they come from one source but on the exam they come from another. He is not consistent at all.
2. He makes speech writing as hard as brain surgery! He is so picky and if you don't say exactly what he wants - he will rip you apart for it.
3. He is unfair. If you have public speaking experience then you will probably do well in his class. But, if you have trouble talking in public he will make you feel so stupid. He has his favorites in the class and it shows.
4. His personality is horrible. He will criticize a southern accent. If your speech topic isn't exactly what he enjoys be prepared to have your grade suffer. For a speech teacher he is terribly boring! I promise - you WILL fall asleep.
5. Fifth if you want an A TAKE ANOTHER CLASS!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. This class taught as an honors class is way overrated. Just take the regular one - do less work - be challenged the same amount. It's all the same except you will get an A instead of a B.

I hope I have prevented someone else from hurting their GPA.

Dr. Caillouet is a definite NO when you sign up for classes.
