Everyone at WKU dreads their HIST 119 or 120. Prof. Phillips made history not as bad as most of my friends told me their HIST 120 classes were. There were three tests and no other grades (30%,30%,40% of overall grade). They were hard tests, but if you go to class 90% of the time and study with classmates for the tests, it's pretty easy really. There were 25 MC worth 2 pts. each, then he gives you two essays of which you choose one (given to you BEFORE the test) worth the other 50 pts. He's a good teacher, sometimes dry and boring, but better that others I've heard of.
