Mr. Melloan was a wonderful teacher. We did in and out of class essays, and it goes by really fast. He spends most of the time answering your questions and is always willing to help you. I highly suggest you take his ENG 100 class, it will make you better at writing. You will end up writing pro and tight! You have to buy one little book and it does not cost much!

Mark Melloan is a cool guy. He is very laid back, although he sometimes attempts to appear otherwise. He has dry humor which is strangly entertaining, and his opinion is greatly valued by his students. Our class mostly focused on in and out of class essays, and a few grammar lessons at the beginning of the semester. He gives students clear examples of what he looks for in an essay, and shares his own works as well. Our final was a portfolio submition. If you are truly looking to become a clear, solid, and concise writer, I highly recommend Mr. Melloan. He's not too bad on the eyes either.

If you dont like to expand you horizons or think, then this class is not for you. However, if you are willing to expand your horizons and think about political, philosophical, and social issues, then Mark Melloan will be more than glad to assist you. Most of his class time is spent correcting grammer mistakes that the entire or majority of the class is making on the weekly journal entries that are required. Honestly, if you are looking to improve as a writer for the rest of your college career Mark Melloan is a wonderful choice for an instructor.

If you don't like government stuff, don't take this guy! He is cool as a person but not a teacher! He doesn't really teach good in class, actually, I haven't learned nothing from him, I have learned from all the research he makes us do!. You have to write three entrys out of a book every week and it sucks! You will constantly be writing papers too! Don't take him if your don't like to write.
