Additional Comments |
Gibson is an AWESOME teacher. He really cares about each of his students and wants each student to succeed and come out of that class knowing something about music. His lectures are long, but they aren't boring. He knows so much about music and is so willing to share that. His extra credit offers are out of this world. You can attend 3 shows each worth 2 PERCENTAGE points on your OVERALL grade for the class. His tests are difficult but not impossible. Just study the notes he gives you and you'll do great. You must attend class to do well, so if you don't want to go, then don't take this class. If you are a class go-er, you'll love him. His final is not a test, its a paper, and its due the week before finals week. He gives you two class periods off to work on it, and the topic about 2 or 3 weeks in advance, plenty of time to work on it so its one less class to worry about during finals week.
