Professor Prather definitely knows what he's talking about which can be a good thing and a bad thing. Make sure you know what is covered in class well. Most of his multiple choice questions are moderately easy but a few require actual thought processing about the theory behind a mathematical concept. If you pay attention in class and at least skim through the text, you'll be FINE!

If you take the class and the paper is optional to replace an exam grade, do the paper.

I was really into the subject matter, so it seemed fun to me, but there were others who really struggled. Having a background in anatomy helps a lot. The Prof let us vote in a couple of areas about what specific aspect to study. If you take (and PASS) all the exams, he lets you drop the lowest.

Pretty basic stuff. Dr. Prather is a straightforward and very fair professor. If you're into the subject it probably helps. I took this as a bi-term class so it went fast. In Dr. P's classes you really can't miss class anyway, or you'll be way behind.

I took this class bi-term. There was no paper required. It was an interesting, basic class. I didn't find it very hard but I did learn new stuff so enjoyed it. There were a few labs conducted in class and that was fun. Because the labs aren't scheduled, you have to attend every class to make sure you don't miss one and get a 0 and hurt your grade.

I took this class Bi-Term so it went quickly and there was a lot to cover each night. The homework helped a lot. I'm not a big fan of math stuff usually but I really liked this class. It's challenging at times but Dr. Prather manages to make sense of it and uses good examples. If you took all the exams you were allowed to drop the lowest one. My advice is to NEVER miss a class and do all your homework.

Although attendance isn't mandatory, you will have to go to class to follow along. This is not a class you can get behind in. There is a TON of material in this class and it's fairly technical in nature. There is a heavy emphasis on the biology of the systems. The first test blew a bunch of people out of the water, but he curved. The final is cumulative, but questions are drawn from prior exams, which helps a lot. I learned a tremendous amount.

Although attendance isn't mandatory, you will have to go to class to follow along. The subject isn't easy, but Dr. Prather is a fair guy and is willing to help. If we took all four tests and the homework grade was higher than one of the test grades, he dropped a test grade in favor of the homework grade. The final is cumulative, but questions are drawn from prior exams, which helps a lot.

This was one of the hardest classes I have taken besides Statistics. Lots of material in a short amount of time. The course is interesting but make sure you can attend all classes because you will miss a lot of material. Learn about how you see, smell, hear, touch/feel, and taste. This is a memory class.

This course is not easy. You must attend class to understand the material even though attendance is not mandatory. You have 4 tests including the final, you also have homework assignments 8 total. If you pass the final then you can drop one of the tests grades for your homework grade. It helps tremendously.

I think he is a great professor. He is use to teaching large classes so he was getting use to the small class. We met only three weekends which was a lot of material but he made it fair. I learned a lot for a weekend course.
