I dread Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 because of this class. All we do is sit in a circle and talk about meaningless crap. Then we have to write our opinions about the discussions - and no one seems to have the right opinion unless yours is identical with hers. She'll hand back your "position paper" with a random score on the top corner and no other marks on the paper.
The goal of this class is to write a 20 page research paper. It actually says that "no paragraph can be less than half a page or more than half a page". What the crap? That's just an example of her expectations. You also can't use "that" or "it" in your research paper. I was always thought that I could use pronouns, but aparantly every other english teacher i've had was wrong.
I haven't learned a thing. Dr. Logan doesn't teach. I'm pretty sure she still doesn't know my name - we only have 3 weeks of the class left and there are only 20 people in there. Please don't take her.
