my god my god....something should be done about the grades students received in this class. it's really not fair.

This man ruined my life!

This was the worst teacher I've ever had, k-present. His rambles are so confusing that he could confuse my dad, who is an ACCOUNTANT! He is the most scatter-brained man I have ever met, his powerpoint is straight from the text and his scribbles on the board might as well have been written in Arabic. Going to class only further confused me into the realm of accounting, I had to drive home to Louisville to study with my dad just to get Bs on the test. If you take him you will end up hating the sound of his rooster like laugh. This is your future, do not let him ruin you! BACK OUT NOW or may God have mercy on your soul.

Western needs to fire this professor!!! He is vulger perverted. I have seen him look at girls in a weird way. I have had him for financial accounting and I am in his managerial accounting but not by choice. I barely passed his financial accounting class but it wasnt from learning the stuff from him. I had to teach myself everything from the beginning. Now that I am stuck in his managerial accounting class, I have to worry about failing because he is extremely unorganized. He cant teach and should be fired.

This man can not teach at all. The final average was a 49. Basically the class got all D's or below. He doesn't help you at all, and expects you to know everything. I passed every test with a B or better and the final was what got me. If you think you will make good grades on the tests and not worry about the Final, think again. My God have mercy on you soul for taking this class, cause Hanley sure won't. I had signed up for Henson, and they changed the class to this guy. Good Luck, cause you will need it!

DO NOT TAKE HANLEY!!! He can not teach at all!! The final is cumulative and given by the department rather than him. Our class average was a 49%...what does that say??? The whole class got D's and he wouldnt help us at all. I went to tutoring, went to class, and did the homework, and still failed. Accounting is not something you can teach yourself and you will have to if you take his class. I think it is horrible that Western even lets him teach. Dont waste you tuition money on taking him!!

I had to go to a tutor every week because i don't understand his teaching style. He is not organized at all. And accounting is all about organization. You'd be better to take this as a web class because if you take Hanley, you'll be teaching yourself everything. He had to give the entire class 30 point curves on the first two tests just so that people would pass. The class average was 70 and that was after the curve!!I 'Ive never studied so hard for a class and I'm still barely hanging on. I am an A/B student and i might fail this course.

This man has no idea how to get the point across to the students. If you have to take a Accounting Course, MAKE SURE you don't get him, or you will really hate yourself. He knows his stuff but can't teach it worth crap. If you think you will just write down the notes from the board GOOD LUCK, because you can't make out one thing he writes down. Again Good Luck if you have to take this course with him.

DO NOT take Hanley. He has no teaching skills whatsoever. His tests are cut and pasted from the textbook. He uses the powerpoints from the textbook website. I could teach this class if that's all was required. He will not explain any problems and makes you feel stupid if you ask any sort of question.

This guy really doesn't know how to teach at all. If you have to take him then be prepared to sit through his class and try to understand his meaningless ramblings and chicked scratch of hand writing. You will find that most of the class is slap-happy by the end of the period. Don't get me wrong he know his stuff, he was a CEO of some major insurance company, but he just doesn't know how to teach. If you take him be prepared to teach yourself almost everything.
