Additional Comments |
I went into this class thinking that 495 was going to be an extremly difficult class from what I was told from others. I left the class with an easy A and being happy I took the course. Although he can be a little boring at times, he loves his work and it shows in his dedication to try to make the class entertaining and enjoyable for students. If you don't attend class regularly you will be in trouble for exams though. The exams are multiple choice/short answer/essay. Norman has a very particular style for grading his exams and wants you to write them like you are explaining to someone that doesn't know anything about Psychology. He's happy to meet with you after each exam, go over them, and show you what you did wrong and why. Make sure you do this. Once you figure out his sytle for grading it's easy to get an A on each exam. It's a required course to graduate and I highly suggest you make sure you take it from Norman and no one else.
