Probably one of the easiest courses I have taken here at WKU, and to make it better, it counted as Honors credit. Take Fleschner if you have any doubts about your abilities in Public Speaking; she encourages her students, and actually may give them a better grade if they give a bad speech because she "applauds the effort." The final is take home, as are the rest of her tests. You don't have to do much research for your speeches, and can knock them out in less than an hour.

No book required, and she lets you out early/cancels class a LOT. Easy A.

She is the greatest teacher! I was terrified to give a speech, but she makes it very easy to understand. There are two individual speeches and one group presentation, and two easy exams. There is no final. Often we got out early. I would definitely recommend her!

This class was a piece of cake. I took this class my last semester. I would have liked to learn more in her class considering I would have used this material to get a job... but the class itself was a easy A regardless.

Dr. Fleschner is an awesome teacher. She does not believe in tests, quizzes, etc. She's really nice and gives like 3-5 easy assignments out over the course of an entire semester. If you have to have this course I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Fleschner is sooo nice. Most of the class is common sense so you don't need to even read the book or take notes. She cancelled class several times and we didn't have to take barely any notes. Only one test and it was take home. Only had to give 2 speeches and almost always got out early. DEFINITELY TAKE THIS CLASS!

Best college class I've ever taken. I took this as a night class on Tuesdays. I had never taken a night class before but this was the perfect one to start with. Class literally never lasted more than an hour (was supposed to last for 3) and she canceled class constantly throughout the semester because of things like her kids soccer games ect. she grades speeches really easily and gives you lots of time to prepare. I only would up having 1 take home test... 2 speeches... and no final... that is literally all we did throughout the semester and I got a 100 in the class. TAKE IT!!! especially as a night class!!!

This woman has to be the best professor i have had since taking classes at WKU. Shes a sweetheart and really cares about her students. Her tests are not difficult and she tries to make the class fun. She makes everyone feel comfortable about doing their speeches. A+++++
