Dr. Jacobshagen is a great professor. Not only is her German accent often comical, but she is very knowledgeable and teaches the course well. There is abundant extra credit available. She also puts a copy of the previous semester's exams on Blackboard. Notes are on Powerpoint, which saves your fingers. I would not take anyone else for this course.

The course was a little boring but the notes were all posted on blackboard which caused most people not to show up for class. (It made her a little mad so she may not post them on blackboard in the future.) The tests come straight from the notes and filling out the old tests that she posts on blackboard also helps because the questions are similiar.

This was an excellent course - a must for anyone interested in molecular biology, and much more applicable for the RGT majors than Organic II imo. Dr. Jacobshagen has a thorough understanding of the topics covered, and covers the material well for each test. The class is challenging because of the sheer volume of information that is covered, but there are no suprises on the tests.
Her accent is no problem - she's not hard to understand (if you pay attention, anyway). Also, I never got the impression that she thought I was a redneck...

It was a hard class, the communication level was difficult. She did not review for tests, midterm, or final. It was just a guess on it all. The quizes were difficult. I had a B in bio 120, but struggled to get a C in this class. She doesn't do a very good job teaching the course.

She just writes all the notes on the board explaining a little. She thinks everyone who attends this school are rednecks who live on farms and have never had formal education. She is very rude and dosen't care about students. She thinks everyone is a moron. You can't understand somethings she is talking about because of her voice.
