This class is rated as Good because you learn quite a bit from it, not neccessarily because it's a totally enjoyable experience. You really have to work and do your research to earn a good grade. You'll write every week and usually have at least two hwork assignments per week. Dr. Lumsden will help you any way she can, but some of the assignments, especially the final project, require quite a bit of outside time. If you're not a very good writer, practice beforehand because you're also graded on your writing ability. You have to work here, but you'll learn quite a bit.
