Prof. Rutledge is an excellent teacher, one of the best I've ever had. His knowledge of the things he talks about are vast and if he ever dosen't know something he tries hard to fins the answer. You have to read a ton in this class, but he makes it fun.You better read cause you have a quiz every day over what you read.There are no tests besides the final, but you have to write 3 papers duringthe semester based on the readings.I'd advise you to not miss this class, cause you miss a lot.I really didn't take much notes I just listened to what he said.
Pr. Rutledge is one of those teachers that is passionate about what he teaches and wants that same effort in your work, but if you take on this class you will not be sorry, trust me.
