I felt that this class was merely an extension of a high school honors course. There is an assigned group presentation, but it is not difficult and can, at times, be enjoying. Ms. Reames tries to be interesting and lively, but she asks questions that don't really lead to active, helpful participation. This is her first semester teaching, so I feel bad by saying anything negative. I feel that she will find her niche and she will eventually be a wonderful teacher. She certainly has the students in mind as she structures her class. There are a number of course readings, and most of them are, at least, halfway interesting. I'd give this teacher a try, at least. I feel she has potential.
