Additional Comments |
Walker Rutledge is one of the sweetest professor's you will ever have. He is mild-mannered and has the greatest accent that makes listening to his lectures a pleasure. Plus, he knows so much about the material that his lectures are very interesting. There is quite a bit of reading involved (it IS a lit survey course) and you have reading quizzes pretty much every day. But the reading quizzes are multiple choice and a breeze if you read the material. There is no one text book for the course since you read poems, short stories and novels. You have to write three short (three to four pages) essays and the final is all multiple choice and true/false. He is a stickler for attendance but it's understandable since you cover basically a book per week. He is a great guy and VERY entertaining in class. I would give him to enthusiastic thumbs up!
