Additional Comments |
It's obvious Dr. Endres is a very intelligent man. He knows his literature and is very passionate about teaching. But when you spend your whole class period watching him read from a sheet of paper, your opinion dwindles because the class is so dull. On top of that, some of the stories we had to read were downright awful. I know that is not Dr. Endres' fault entirely, but on top of the boring readings (which were usually 60 pages every class period you have to read for homework) him reading off of a piece of paper instead of sharing his own knowledge by memory makes the class seem pointless. I did enjoy the group assingments and you also have to stand in front of the class twice to give a presentation on a review of a piece of work that you are reading in class. Dr. Endres gives you the review, so it's pretty easy. The class itself is pretty easy if you pay attention and don't fall behind in the reading, but it can be very boring.
He only has a midterm and final. Both have identifications that you have to identify and give an explanation about it. He also has one essay on both tests, but on your reviews he gives you the essay questions, so you can study and decide which one you want to write.
