a few points:

~dont buy the book, you never even have an assignment from it. He never even references it..waste of time and money

~class is boring, but if you miss, its hard to learn the autocad program if you are unfamiliar

~tests are all essay short-answer and he literally gave a 10-min review for which he just talked about stuff and you wrote it down hoping that was what he was actually putting on the test

~he's not very good at explaining things and he goes so fast when he shows how-to's

~i feel like he favors those who already know what the hell they're doing and not those who are confused.

If possible, never take jackson for anything, too bad this class is required and he is the only professor that teaches it.

His exams are essays over something he has made up, rarely is it out of the book, usually from some handout and even then it prob. isnt from that.

It would be good if the material he makes the exams over were in the book or on his handouts, because then you could teach yourself. but its not, and he sure doesnt explain anything.

So the exams, well write something long that sounds good and hope he doesnt read it all.

I only have one question? How do you teach a class while you are in China all semester???? Oh wait ask Jackson he knows how to do it. Do not take this class with him. he grades so inconsistantly it is rediculous. Maybe he should stay in china
