McCarthy is an excellent profesor especially if your a Steelers fan! (He's a Pittsburgh man!) A very insightful and knowledgeable man. He makes class very entertaining and interesting. His test are very easy if you take good notes and pay attention. Don't let the wording of his syllabus scare you, he's a very fair guy! I highly recommend him regardless of what history class you take with him. If you are a history buff, you will love him. If you hate history you will discover a new found appreciation for the subject.

This guy is something. He is a yankee from Pennsylvania but a pretty good teacher. If you're into sports you'd better be a Steelers and West Virginia fan. He lectures for about 2 hrs at most and lets you go early. You are to read 2 books but no one does. Get the summaries off the internet and write a compare/contrast from that. This guy is easy so take him if you can.

Ha Ha Hey! This guy is absolutely the best! This guy's got style! He's got all you could ask for to keep the class entertaining. If you take ole Bill, be ready for more than just a class, it's an experience! Oh, and this guy is from Pitty city so he likes his meat wrap hoagies!
What a guy!

It's a shame I didn't make an A in this course. You can actually enjoy listening to him. Extremely easy class, especially for Pittsburg Steelers fans (hint... hint). You have only 3 tests. He grades easy and sometimes will give answers out during the test. He requires you to read 2 books for the final and write an essay comparing/contrasting the two. I never read neither book and relied totally on cliff notes. By the way, you are allowed to write your essay for the final at home.
