Additional Comments |
This class was not only ridiculously boring, but also extremely tedious. Milliman does a poor job of going over class material through notes and then makes tests that contain questions which weren't in either his notes or the book. The worst part of the class is his final project which he makes into a contest where the winning group gets all A's no matter what their current grade is in the class. The project wouldn't be bad if it wasn't extremely work intensive, or the fact that he never does an adequate job of going over how to do certain parts of the project, but it is extremely work intensive, and he barely goes over the project outline! In our class, he ended up stacking one team with two of his favorite students who he has known for awhile, and even though they didn't have the best project (I talked it over with numerous people after the class) they still won. Worst yet, he grades the final 300 point project extremely hard for everyone else who doesn't win. Our class average was barely a C on the project and it brought many people's grades down. This was one of the worst classes I've taken up at Western and I've had some pretty bad ones. Under no circumstances take a class with this teacher.
