Dr. Wininger gives good notes and constructs his tests from his notes. He gives three quizzes, which are all open book, but you must read the selections! The only problem I had with him is that he lets his grad student grade the critical performances, and he will not change her grade, even if he thinks you deserved better. What she says goes!! Other than that, I didnt have a problem with the course.

"I have changed grades on the Critical Performances if a student deserves an increase in their grade. However, I will not change grades just because a student complains."
