Ms. Benson is a good person. This course is not to challenging but she wants her students to learn. She doesn't believe in a lot of note taking. She likes to do group things and discussion. Extra credit is available if you show up to class and participate. She will sometimes give you extra points for just being there. She gave us five or six quizzes but they were all group quizzes. She gave us three tests and a presentation for the final. On the first test she gave us the questions which were on the tests. You went over them before every class. The second test was a take home test but she still gave you things which would probably be on the test and you highlighted them in your book. The third test was a test you had to study for but again she gave you information which would be on the test and you underlined it in the book so all you had to do was memorize it. The presentation was over a chapter from the book, you had a partner, and she preferred powerpoint to present it.

This course was easy and interactive. Ms. Benson uses various teaching methods and we had group work which made the class more interesting. It also helped you to get to know some of your classmates.

Ms. Benson is very helpful. You really have to be prepared for class. She has pop quizzes. She uses various sources in the class. Overall she is a good person and teacher.
