I don't know how I really felt about this course because while it was easy I don't think I learned much of anything in it. Dr. Bertuleit is a very nice lady and means well but I question her effectiveness as an instructor.
Every night we usually got out early and she would talk very briefly about the material (she thinks we should learn from the book moreso than her. hmm....) and then have to listen to a group presentation about a particular chapter which could be bad/good depending on who was giving it.
We had one test in the class since she cancelled our midterm and that was our final exam and she practically gave us the answers to that in the study guide she read off at the end of our last official class. You also have to write a paper from a book called "Teaching to Your Strengths" that you have to pay for and its not too bad. You also have three quizzes in the class and a group project but those aren't hard either if you can fight the urge not to read your textbook. Finally, you have to do two critical performances for your electronic education portfolio.
Overall this class was pretty easy as are most education classes. However, I don't think this class made me a better teacher b/c I didn't get as much out of it as I thought I would.
