The test are a combination of matching, fill in the blank, short answer and essay. Most of the test points come from an essay and and appplication. The applications on the test are covered in group work. Attendance is not necessary; however, the majority of points on the exam come from things covered in class. You really dont have to take too many notes because you can print off the material from ecourses and just bring it to class. She makes the course interesting but you do have to study for her test. She gives extra credit but its such a big assignment. Its not worth doing unless you are totally bombing her class. I took the course in a 3 week summer session.

She is very nice, the course seems fun until you get the first test back. Her exams are very hard, even though you think you know what is going on. She was pleased with the results of one of her exams when fifteen people failed? I don't get it. Good Luck!

Her mind is not on teaching at all. Always not available for her students.The Irony is that she has ways to keep you being extremly busy, but it's not rewarding. Her teaching style just makes you learn nothing from this class, but being frustarted throughout the whloe semester. Her totally unorganized teaching makes you have no idea what you get from this class until it is TOO LATE!! Don't take her class!!

Gibson is a horrible teacher. She could not keep up with what she herself was doing.Everyone in the class was frustrated with her teaching style. Do not take her unless it's a must--not even then.

She is a good teacher, a little unorganized at times, but really cares about her students. She is fairly passive, but shouldn't be taken advantage of. I am currently taking her class this semester (Spring 2001) and am enjoying it.

She is a nice person, but she is not very dedicated to teaching the class. She is very unorganized and NOT a very good teacher. You won't learn anything

She's a super nice lady, but her idea of teaching is to go through the book and read you the headings of sections "you may want to look at". I don't need her to read the book to me even though I did graduate from a KY high school. I showed up for approx. half of the classes, if that, and got an A. She has group projects and tests that take quite a while to finish.
