Additional Comments |
I took this class over the summer, and I definitely recommend doing so for anyone else who has the option. This class followed a very similar format to 300...constantly struggling to keep up with Ross as he wrote notes and worked problems in class. The material is also very similar, but concentrates on Equity. The differences were that the exams were half mc and half problem solving and we had take home problems instead of quizzes. He does not curve the tests, but he does allow you to miss about 3 mc w/o it affecting your grade. The problems are very similar to the quizzes in their difficulty, but they aren't quite as long and their are no hints. Of course, Ross is always good about being available in his office if you need some help.
The coursework is a lot to cover in a 5 week class, so you have to stay on top of things. But overall, I found it much easier to deal with in the summer as you don't have 5 other classes to worry about keeping up with as well.
