Additional Comments |
Dr. Njoku told us within the first couple weeks that if we came to class and participated, we would receive an A. He must have changed his mind between the first couple weeks and the end of the semester. I only missed a couple classes the whole semester. On a couple of occasions he would cancel class no notice or just have us sign in and leave. That happened twice in a row. We had a drum circle project that was suppposed to be 50% of our grade. I participated in that and still ended up with a C after getting a 20/20 on the midterm (which his grad assistant graded) and turning in the project and final on time. I'm not even sure what he's grading on. There were a couple students who were hardly ever there but I'm sure they got an A, because the few times they were, he promised to get them a scholarship for grad school. Why would he tell students he'd get them a scholarship when they don't bother to show up for his class except for the day projects are due and the final? Avoid this class if at all possible.
