Do not take this course w/ him if you can find another professor. You have to write 5 papers, 3 pgs. single spaced and they're only worth 10 pts each. The midterm is only worth 20 points and no one knew their grades throughout the semester. You will learn absolutely nothing and dread coming to class. But if you do take him make sure that you write a full page on the third page and that your at class every week. If you're not there when he hands back papers he won't give you a grade on your paper. You can't understand him 1/2 the time and when classmates asked for specifics on assignments he called them ignorant and stupid. In class all of the students had to choose quotes from the assigned readings...he thinks we can't read apparently....ENJOY!!!
