Additional Comments |
Dr. Doerner is a really great professor. I have never learned as much in any other biology course at Western. Don't buy the book because he tells you everything you need to know and he has some notes on blackboard. It is a lot of notes, but if you take them well and study those, you will be okay on the tests. He gives 4 tests including the final so do well on the first three because you will get to drop your lowest grade. One unusual aspect is that you have to take one oral exam. It sounds difficult but I did better on that exam than any of the other ones. He's super helpful and very intelligent when it comes to course material.
