I have taken six online courses during my years at WKU and this was, by far, the easiest. As long as you get the textbook and spend 2-3 hours per month on this class, you will get an A.
There are four open-book exams and five assignments. The exams are straight from the book and timed, but I was able to finish them in less than half an hour without looking at the text beforehand. Dr. Helbig grades very leniently on the assignments, which usually consist of writing a few paragraphs in response to prompts.
The ONLY downside to this class is that she doesn't post all the tests/assignments at the beginning of the semester, so you cannot take an exam or complete an assignment until she makes it accessible. But this is a small price to pay for the ease of this A.

I took this class online and it was VERY easy. If you need a GPA booster take this class. I didn't open the book except during the test to look up answers. The assignments are very easy and can be answered without the book. If your grade is high enough at the end of the semester then you don't have to take the final.

I took this as an online class for the Spring semester. All the test were 25 multiple choice and you had an hour to complete all the tests. We were also allowed to use notes, book, and internet with permission from the teacher. The only bad thing is the test were out of 250 points so every question you got wrong was 10 off. And you had to read the book to know exactly what the questions were asking, sometimes they would ask for a paticular person a certain statistic that was stated. There are 4 homework assignments also. They were mainly just a 13 question quiz, just like the test, that you can only take once. Overall, the class was easy. I would have gotten an A if I would have read the material, but I was only 20 points away from an A. I do not remember anything from this class, so if your looking for somethine easy, take this class. But if your looking for a class where you will remember everything you read and tested over, I dont recommend this class.

Professor Helbig's class is not bad at all. If you keep up with your work and assignments then you should have no trouble getting a good grade in this course. The tests are some what difficult but nothing terrible either. You have 5 assignments throughout the course that will cover the chapters you are supposed to read. Overall the course is not bad and Professor Helbig is always willing to help.

I took the online version of the course so the textbook was very mandatory for me. However, all I had to do was briefly scan over each chapter that was being covered on each of the tests and then go into the final. Most of the material is fairly straight forward so it is easy to learn. There are 4 tests and then the final. The first 4 tests are not cumulative and each covers around 3 chapters in the book. The final is cumulative, but you can mostly just study over your past tests and maybe skim the book and do perfectly fine. If you have a problem you can easily email the teacher and get a quick response. Most of the time I had a response by the end of the day or early the next day.

This is a online class, not to hard but you have to remember to keep up with it, and the final is cumulative and worth 300 out of the 1000 class points.. she is really nice and is quick to respond though,.

This was a telecourse. My first and last telecourse. Nothing quite replaces lecture in class. There are a lot of "gimme" grades, but with the final being worth 400 of the 1000 points possible it is difficult to remember all the information since you basically teach yourself in this course. Dont recommend, it's not really the teacher, it's the course.

I expected this class to be easier than it actually was. You only meet twice in the semester, the first day and the last for the final. You have 4 or 5 assignments and 4or 5 tests. The assingments are easy, no problem there. I thought the tests were difficult, but i didn't read the chapters..so read the chapters!! The final was a lot easier than most of the test simply b/c she gives you a study guide with everything on it. Read the chapters and beware of the online tests! I've had a couple of friends that failed her course b/c of her test!! SO READ and take her!

this is a telecourse, and she gives you no help on how to study. she realized that everyone did poorly on the first two exams so she gave a study guide for the rest. u only meet four times a semester and that is only to take the test. you gotta read the book, don't have to watch the tv programs assigned. just don't expect too much from her...
