This will be an easy class if you have the ability to teach yourself the material. Mr. Bennett does not really cover any of the material himself; chapters will be passed out to groups at the beginning of the semester to be taught to the class by each group.
He will allow students to make up work as well as tests passed the deadline (something I do not agree with). Nice guy, interesting to talk to, and you will learn a lot about his personal life.....unfortunately you will be likely teaching yourself the course.

Dr.Bennett is somewhat boring at times but he makes it very easy for students to pass this class. It is actually a quite enjoyable class and you learn a lot. I had it at 8:00 a.m., but it did not bother me a bit because the class was so easy. If you just go to class and pay attention and do the assigned work, this should be an easy course for you.

Mr. Bennett is a fun teacher. We had a variety of different activities during the semester and he gave a lot of chances to earn extra credit. I didn't purchase a textbook and still made an A in his class.

this is a great class to take if you are needing an HR elective. Dr Bennett is a great teacher, there isn't a whole lot of work and he doesn't expect a lot either. He is great, try to take him for any classes you can.

Dr. Bennett is a really nice guy and is willing to help out any student that needs help, even if they are not in his class. He has worked for several different companies and has decided to teach after coming out of the business world. He has all kinds of stories of real life applicable situations. The last half of the semester the students break into groups of 3 and each teach a chapter for a grade. Lots of extra credit opportunites. Attendance not mandatory, but if you're border line at the end of the semester, it's a deciding factor. He gives extra credit for those who attend the Friday before fall and spring break.

Good, easy class. One big project and not too many tests, plus he gives a really thorough review for the test. Definitely recommend.

I did not like this class. Dr. Bennett was very boring and just told personal stories, but never taught anything. All the students teach the class and it is death by power point so it's impossible to take notes. The book is long and boring and I never read any of it. The only reason to have it is to teach your chapter, but it was a waste of money. The only good part was that Dr. Bennett gives you half of the test questions and the answers. Other than the presentation and the tests you have to get "experiental" points, which he gives you in class and other ways. But all the times he says you can get "extra credit" are actually "experiental" points and can potentially count against you for not doing them. This class was long and boring.

I love Jerry Bennett. He made this class so fun, and I actually learned things too. He will give you half of the test questions and little 5 or 10 extra credit just for coming to class.

Dr. Bennett is wonderful! He makes class fun and enjoyable. There are times when he gets off subject, but it is still a great class. I would recommend it to anyone!

DR. BENNETT IS WONDERFUL! I LOVE HIM! HE WILL HELP YOU GET THROUGH THE COURSE. HE GIVES YOU TEST QUESTIONS THE DAY BEFORE THE TEST. SO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING TO BE ON IT!

Dr. Bennett makes this class very easy. There are many projects so if you do poorly on exams you have other opportunities. Attendance is not mandatory however you will get extra credit in the end for coming. It is an easy class I would recommend taking it.

Dr. Bennett is very kind hearted. He is a wonderful person. If you want to learn a lot, he believes that job experience is the way to learn. I would recommend taking him if your courseload is really hard.

Dr. Bennett is a great teacher to take, class is very laid back. You don't have to take any notes, he goes over half the questions on the test the class before. And he curves tests big time cuz he wants everyone to do well. A very nice teacher.

This is the easiest class I've had at WKU. You need to go to class because he gives points for doing little 5 minute stupid group assigments. Other than that, the only time you really need to listen is the class before tests because he tells you exactly what's on them. You don't need the book, so don't buy it.
