The class wouldnt be that bad but he expects you to drive all over the county to different field trips, and he expexts you to stay way after the time the class suppose to dismiss! He assigns projects that seem easy but he will NOT give you an A no matter how well you think u do. He has a KNOW IT ALL personality and will humiliate you if he sees a chance to. I wouldnt take any of his classes if I had the choice...

This teacher requires you to attened a conference for 100 points. However most of the conferences are not anywhere near Western! If you didn't attened the conference you would have to take a test over EVERYTHING you learned right after you finished taking the final. He tried to make recreation much harder than it really is. You had a big presentation due worth a large part of your grade. He had outlines for his class however he just randomly talked and didn't follow his note outlines at all. If your major doesn't require this class, DO NOT TAKE IT!!!!

It's a fun class, if you like out doors. we went canoeing ever thursday for the first 5 weeks, it was fun sometimes other was flat water and hot.(Bring LOTS of water and food) because you will be out on the water for a few hours. the inclass work is somewhat easy. There is a camping trip at the end of the semster, you must attend all the out of class activites because thats most of the grade. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

When I first started this class I thought I was in trouble, but as it turned out, the class was probably one of the best of the semester. The class got easier during the later part of the semester. I really enjoyed this one

I have had several classes with Spencer. The only reason why I have had more than one class with him is because he is the only who teaches them. Unless you can stand a huge ego, and having someone make you feel like you know nothing, don't take his classes if at all possible. He can be very rude, out of line, and extremely cocky. If you can't get around taking his class, then bite your tounge, laugh at his jokes, and try to let it slide when he gets mad. Good Luck!

Not a bad class if you study and do what he asks.
