This was my favorite class that i have had! I didnt miss her class once because I actually enjoyed coming to class. She is a really good professor, and I have learned a lot by taking this class. If you get the opportunity to take her, I would!

This woman is very very busy and does not have much time for her students. I see the other reviews are good, but I think they had her in class. DO NOT take this woman as a online course. She will not help you and I still have yet to fiqure out her grading scale. Just save yourself and take a different course... or you will regret it.

She is one of the best teachers that I have ever had! I actually loved going to her class because she makes it so interesting. She is easy to relate to and very willing to help her students. There are three exams (super easy if you do the study guide). There are only two big assignements. There is a critical performance paper that might seem hard when you look at it but it's easy. There is also an observation paper you have to do but it is easy too! The only somewhat bad thing is attendance. Attendance is worth 200 points in your final grade. You receive 5 points for each class attended. So, if you miss alot of class, that will hurt your grade. Overall, a GREAT class!

I enjoyed this class very much! Jamie is amazing and she really knows what shes talking about during her lectures. All the assignments are pretty much hit and miss meaning that if you write a page and you sound like you know what you're doin', you'll get full credit. She give study guides right before the test that have EVERYTHING you need to know on the test...which is awesome. Attendence is not really mandatory, but @ the end of the semester she takes 5 points out of 200 for every day you miss, which surprisingly can add up. Not many notes @ all...i tried taking notes while she lectured and then just realized it came right from the book so i just high lighted...i would definately recommend her if you need this class!!!

Mrs. Wall is a very interesting and funny professor. She makes you laugh with her stories about her experiences with children. This helped me to remember the concepts better. I'm not sure why she has so many bad evaluations on here, as she was a very nice and helpful professor to everyone. She is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her!

OK take this into account she makes the test seem hard, when actually the items are in the same order as the study guide, when it is just a word then most likely the question will be about that word and you will have to fill in the blank. If it has a question mark, then you will have to answer the question with maybe a sentence, just ask her she will tell you, but remember you have to ask she does not volunteer information she is boring, and a waste of money and time, WKu needs to start putting cameras in all the rooms to look in on teaching styles and if they did Jamie Wall would be the first one gone........and that would be a good thing for the Consumer Family Science Department. She may be a good person, but not a good professor, Jamie if you are going to do this, do it right, damn take some classes to help your ass to learn to teach well and effectively. BORING TEACHER, NOT HELPFUL, Where did they get this woman?

Jamie Wall is an awful professor and I hope WKU and Ms. Wall is reading this. She is the worse professor that I have ever encountered, although she is not the hardest one I have ever had, she just is not meant to teach. She reads straight from the book, with a boring voice, and then tells a story sometimes, and that's like a treat. If you want to get something out of the course read the book teach yourself, and don't expect her to help you, she just uses her mono-tone voice, and basically tells you I'm not going to help you. Jamie is often compared to Rachel Neal, and I don't know why she does not look like her, and she can not teach as good or even close to Rachel. She makes her test a little challenging LOL which is dumb, because she does not even deserve to give a test, with her bad teaching, Jamie Wall is a waste of our tuition money, Jamie if you do have another job stick to that why waste hard earned money provided by the students........Kick this teacher off of the Hill ASAP!!!!!

JAMIE NEEDS TO STICK TO HER DAY JOB OF SELLING MAKEUP. WKU IS WASTING THEIR MONEY PAYING HER B/C SHE READS DIRECTLY FROM THE BOOK AND THEN GIVES AN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF HER 500 BEST FRIENDS KIDS. AND ITS NEVER NICE, ITS ALWAYS SO CRITCAL. I FEEL SORRY FOR HER FRIENDS B/C SHE COMES TO CLASS TO BACKSTAP THEM. ITS SO MUCH EASIER TO READ THE BOOK ON YOUR OWN THEN TO COME TO CLASS AND HAVE JAMIE READ IT TO YOU.

Jamie is a good teacher but if you need help in anyway WHATSOEVER you can forget it. She doesn't have the patience or the time. She owns her own business ironically HELPING others but does not want to help her students. She forgets that this is called a Hypocrite and that she was once a student like us. You are on your own in this class.

Jamie Wall is a good teacher, am not going to say anything bad about her, cause she is a good teacher, but her test are FILL IN THE BLANK, it not hard but you have to study your ASS off. Only two exams so study for a FILL IN THE BLANK test. Make sure you show up in class 70 to 100 points for just showing up. You do have two project that are mandatory, but fun.

although I thought Jamie was a good teacher, there were only two exams. Each test covered about five chapters. If you are not good at fill in the blank exams, then I would not reccommend her for relationship violence course.

I loved this class. Professor Wall has a passion for teaching and she makes class fun. She has a great sense of humor and is extremely nice. Make sure you show up for class, she gives 100 points just for attendance. Her test are really easy if you study the study guide she gives you. I learned so much in this class, I would reccomend it to everyone.
