Mr. Hall was a very good teacher. I learned in his class and got a very good grade. You have one group project that was very easy. The test are easy if you study and the extra credit questions are just common sense.

Mr. Hall is very funny. A lot like previous high school teachers that you just can't help but laugh at their quirks and the weird things they do. So he is entertaining. He truly cares about the students and isn't hard at all. Just do the study guide the night before the test. Always giving extra credit too. I am definitely going to take Marketing classes with Mr. Hall.

Mr. Hall is an average teacher, it seems that he rambles a lot, but those rambling always effectively pertain to class topics. He has a lot of guest speakers which are really cool because they provide a real-life application to what he teaches. ALWAYS come to class, it makes the tests really easy if you pay attention. You barely have to study and you can get an A.

Mr. Hall works to make the material interesting with real-world examples and humorous comments. I'm not a marketing major so I wasn't too interested in the class. He shows enthusiasm and keeps the subject from being boring (most of the time).
If you go to class and take good notes you could get by without the book. I did read some of the chapters and used the book to fill in my notes when I missed something.
There are plenty of opportunities for extra credit and there's no reason not to take advantage. Some complain about losing points for missing class. I see it as getting points for attending. If you go to all the classes you get extra points. There are always a few extra points on the tests. There is also the 7:00 a.m. meeting at Kroger to listen to the Frito-Lay guy talk about marketing for about 15 minutes which is worth 15 points.
There are four tests with the final covering new material and some of the old material. Mr. Hall provides a review sheet a few days before each test. Study that material and you will do well.
He does like the atheletes and Greeks. He often uses them for examples or asks them questions. If it were me, I would rather be left alone. I never saw that he showed them favoritism, but I guess it could have happened. It didn't matter to me. I was just there to do my own thing.
Overall it was a good class and I would recommend Mr. Hall. If you go to class and study for a few hours for each test you can get an A.

Mr. Hall is a nice guy. He has alot of real world experience and good knowledge of the business world. His tests are a little tricky but offers a TON of extra credit. Come to class and try and he will respect you. I got an A on all of my tests, he will give a review every time. He also has a good sense of humor. Other prof. will put you to sleep because of their lack of personality, but he makes it interesting. Also don't get mad if he makes a joke towards you, he does it with everyone. He makes fun of himself alot too, its always a good time. He does take grades on attendence so just come to class and it will help your grade. Take him if you can.

He gives so much extra credit that it's so easy to get an A. He also gives you a review before the test and that's all I studied before each exam and I made an A on every test. I love, love, love him. He is extremly funny too!!!

Mr. Hall is totally amazing and just plain cool! He is one of those guys that makes you want to come to class, just to see what wacky thing he will say or do next. He makes class WAY fun, he is very interactive with the class and he makes sure he knows ALL of his students by first name. Mr. Hall is all in all a big kid who likes to joke around and talk about sports, but he also knows his stuff. I HIGHLY recommend his class and Mr. Hall as a teacher. If you decide not to take his class, you are missing out on a wonderful experience. ---side note, the text book is not mandatory but it is beneficial to read.

I took him for BA 175 and loved it. Marketing, however, wasn't as much fun. I think it was more the material than anything else.
The one bad thing about him is that he HEAVILY favors Greek kids and athletes. Before every test both the athletes and Greek kids had a copy of last year's test to study from. Some even said he gave the old test to them. This was a huge advantage for them because the test were almost the same.

If you like a talker that goes off of the subject easily and tells you a funny story, then Dr. Hall is the one. I took his 3 wk. winter term and enjoyed it a lot.
The main thing done in the class was a group project that's due a couple of days before the final. It consisted of thinking up a product and having on paper from start to finish about the product and everything about it. It was a little tedious, but as long as you look at the example projects he has layed out from the semesters before and follow them, you should get a good grade in the class. Also, his wife judges for the best logo and best company name, and the winners get an extra 5 pts. on their projects. He will also give you extra points if you turn in the group project early. All in all if you like a light hearted class atmosphere and are interested or required to take Entrepreneurial Marketing I would take Dr. Hall.

If you can find someone who has taken him before, his test rarely vary from year to year, so I would suggest finding one. Also, you can go to a 15 minute presentation to get 15 extra credit points.

You can scate through the class without writing a single word of notes. All of the material he covers comes directly from the book, however the tests are mostly applying the concepts to examples instead of simply memorizing definitions. He gives several chances for extra credit, which will offset the points he takes off for missing class and cellphones ringing. His sesne of humor is funny at first but quickly gets old and he deffinately gives preference to females and athletes. No respect for those of us who have to work for a living. Ultimately I would recommend taking someone else.

The class was pretty easy and he was pretty interesting as well. But don't believe him when he goes on in class about his attendence policy. It's not worth it if all you are to get is a letter at the end of the class. Also, if he says "you will get an A if you have a B and put forth the effort", don't worry about coming. Miss when you want too, just don't miss too much that he takes points off your grade.

The class was pretty easy and he made it enjoyable. However, dont listen to his spill on if you have perfect attendance you will get an A. He told our class that the entire time he taught that class, out of all the kids that had perfect attendance, only 1 had got a B and the others got A's. Also he said that if you had perfect attendance and was a few points away from an A, he would go ahead and make sure you get that grade. To me, he left the impression that perfect attendance=A. I had perfect attendance as well as many other people, and we received B's. So don't listen to him with his spill on perfect attendance, he lied so miss as much as you want, just pay close attention to how many points he takes away per class period missed.

I took Mr. Hall his first semester of teaching. Sometimes he was very hard, and others times was very easy. The class is overall boring but you have to go or you don't get your attendance points. Our first test was very hard and everyone bombed. Our next few tests he helped us out by telling us what to study. He even made us take a test on 9/11!!! Like anyone was thinking about a test that day!! Then our final there was way too much information. I think it had something like 150 questions covering about 15 chapters. It was ridiculous. I would definitely not recommend taking him until he has had a few years of experience.

I LOVED this class! Mr. Hall is an awesome teacher. You have to do a group project (which is teach a chapter) and those got kinda boring, but he likes creativeness when it comes to your project. He usually tells you what will be on the test the class before. You will have quizzes over the chapters, but they aren't too bad. 56 of your points comes from attendence. If you want to have fun, take Mr. Hall for this class.
