he is great enjoyed it a lot, didn't seemed to be a typical boring class which i expected it to be. it was fun, guess what i know some of the weak points of my speech and now able to correct them, i can learn how to communicate non verbally much better than before.

kempa did not show up on the first day of class untill five minutes before it was over. what a first impression. besides being a very sarcastic person, his grading is solely based on how he interprets you. if you are like him in any way he will take offense, and your grade will reflect it. our class was even threatened after doing the semester professor evaluation. don't try to do well, because you will fail. he is very unclear about what assignments should consist of and will count off for incredable things. <hr><b>Updated 11/06/2002</b>

This class is way too hard. There are many other scom 161 instructors that are much easier. Plus, he's not very nice. <hr><b>Updated 11/06/2002</b>

As a teacher, Mr. Kempa leaves much to be desired. He takes joy out of hurting students, and seems to go out of his way to make the class unnecessarily difficult. However, as a man, he makes me realize I am woman. He stirs feelings in me that I have never felt before. When he looks at me it as though he can see straight into my soul. Yes, he yells a lot, and yes, he is rough and mean, but it is worth it to watch him move and see the way his shirt stretches across his broad chest. I absolutely do not recommend taking his class if you want a peaceful learning experience. However, if you want your womanhood awakened, take him and enjoy the view.
